Anastasia Grace Vollman (née Bodnar)
Anastasia Grace Vollman (née Bodnar) aka Stasha was born on January 14, 1983, and passed away peacefully on August 22, 2023, with her loving husband Jason Storey and best friend/sister Sarah Milenbach by her side.
Stasha was predeceased by her mother Donna Marie Thomas (née Burak) and grandparents Nicholas and Nadeya Bodnar, Steve Burak and Jim Richardson.
Anyone who knew Stasha knew she did things on her own terms in her own way, and that is what friends and family love the most about her. Her sense of adventure and outgoing personality allowed her, in her lifetime, to experience so many extraordinary things, of which most others could only dream. She was very grateful for all of these experiences.
Stasha’s true passion in life was her family and friends. In June 2022 she married Jason and together they created a beautiful, blended family. She was extremely proud of her children Maximus Vollman, Olivia Storey and Matthew Storey. Her loud enthusiastic cheering from the sidelines of various sporting and other special events will be missed by her children, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her immediate family, she leaves behind grandmothers Liz Burak and Bev Richardson, parents Paul and Victoria Bodnar, and Wendy Richardson, siblings Monica Goretzky (Jared), Sarah Milenbach, Kay Thomas (Brandon) and Matthew Thomas, along with many other family and chosen family members, and friends. She will always be remembered and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Cross Cancer Institute or University of Alberta Hospital, two organizations who showed incredible kindness, compassion, and care for Stasha.
May her memory be eternal.
A Funeral Service will be held for Stash on Friday August 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Herman's Orthodox Church, 9930 167 St NW, Edmonton, AB.

So sorry for your immense loss. Stasha will be greatly missed. Especially around the pool table where we rivalled many games and befriended each other. Condolences to the whole family and friends of Stasha. You will be greatly missed along with your infectious smile and laugh.
