Frank Arthur
It is with great sadness and much love that we announce the passing of Frank N Arthur at 88 years of age. Frank passed away peacefully on July 09th with family at his side after a long struggle with Parkinson’s disease.
Frank was preceded by his parents, Frank and Edith Arthur, Sister Marj, and brother Floyd.
He will be remembered and forever missed by his loving wife of 67 years, Betty Arthur, and his children; son Norman Arthur, daughters Sharon Schulte (Neil), Caroline de Milliano (John) and son Jim Arthur (Nancy); grandchildren Chris Schulte, Heather Kowal (Braden), Ryan de Milliano (Sonja), Brendan de Milliano (Reba), Kaitlyn Tuomi (Austin), Alison Arthur, Michael Arthur and great grandchildren, Ella, Eden, London, Layla, Hunter, Lincoln, Evan, Maxwell, Malia, Jacob, Cassie.
Frank will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather. He had a great sense of humor, a deep love of country music and enjoyed playing guitar for family and friends. He won several talent contest and jam sessions, which he was humbly proud of. Frank also had a strong passion for stock car racing. He enjoyed going to the track to watch the stock and sprint cars compete.
In his retirement years, Frank was very active with his grandchildren, attending many of their sporting events, birthdays and graduations. He never missed an opportunity to be with them and often stopped by to welcome them home from school with his patented baked meatloaf, hotdogs and/or donuts!
Frank’s family wishes to thank the Dr Gerald Zetter Care Centre for their care and support.
In keeping with Frank’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of life will be held in remembrance of Frank at a later date.
