Jentink, Frederick (FRITZ)
It is with great sadness that the family of Frederick (Fritz) Jentink announce his passing on the morning of May 19, 2023, with his granddaughter Melissa by his side.
Fritz is survived by Betty, his loving wife and best friend of almost 60 years, children Mitch (Brenda) Oshman, George Jentink and Jo Popadynetz, grandchildren Melissa and Jeremy (Jenna), great-grandchildren Ripley and Nora, brother John (Lorraine) sister-in-law Addy, numerous nephews, nieces and close friends.
Fritz was predeceased by his parents, sisters Chris Gibney and Reika Thurman, brother Henk Jentink and in-laws Ann and Phillip Genoski.
Fritz was born in the Netherlands on December 29, 1931 to John and Dricka Jentink. The family of 5 immigrated to Canada in 1948. He liked to say he came when he was 17 with 17 cents in his pocket.
Fritz was a hard-working self-made man. His work was his hobby. Can Am Tool was his "baby" until its sale. He was very well known and respected in the drywall trade.
Fritz's sense of humour will be greatly missed.
The family wish to invite anyone interested

I send my sincere condolences during this time of sorrow. The Bible gives a real hope and promises that your loved one will soon live again in a peaceful paradise on the earth when death will be no more. (John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:4)
