Eulene Hope Moores
Eulene Hope Moores of Stony Plain, Alberta
March 5th, 2018
Our beautiful, amazing and faithful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to countless people, passed into the loving and merciful arms of our heavenly Father. She passed very peacefully at 6:18pm on Monday, March 5th, 2018 surrounded by her adoring husband, David Earl, as well as her loving daughters, Esther and Elisabeth, and granddaughter, Laura.
I said "goodbye" to my dearest friend, my mom, at least a thousand times over the last ten years, as Alzheimer’s has stolen her away bit by bit. But today was her final farewell. "Rest in peace, beautiful mom" seems like the appropriate thing to say. However, if she heard me, her response would be, "REST! For goodness sakes, haven't I rested enough already? There's time for everything under the sun, Dear! I'm finally free from that tight, heavy cocoon that has bound me like a straitjacket for so long, and I have finally experienced the glorious metamorphosis that I have been looking forward to all of my life! God has been faithful to His life-long promise... "Goodness and Mercy HAVE followed me all the days of my life, right up to my last breath. I've always said, "The Lord gives His beloved rest and I am His beloved!" I fell into a deep, blissful sleep and have woken up free, in His arms. Please Dear, don't worry about me. Just trust! I'm more than fine! And you are too! Before you know it, we'll all be together again for all eternity, where there'll be no more goodbyes!" ~ Elisabeth (Bee) Drachenberg
Eulene is survived by her husband of 63 years, David Earl, 5 children, 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her daughter Eunice (1986) and granddaughter Sherilynn (2001)

OMG. My sympathy to the Moores family.
A long journey to this point in time but your mom is now with Him and she will once again thrive having now been freed of her earthly mind and body. Our most sincere condolences go out to you, Tim, your family and dear friends of your mother. God bless her and all of you.
I remember fondly sitting on the floor of her living room… in that beautiful double wide trailer… listening to her playing beautiful hymns on the piano and singing along. Can’t remember “church” ever feeling so warm and cozy and without expectation and agenda as those Sunday mornings at the Moore’s. And it was topped off by Eulene’s delicious cooking. I don’t ever want to forget those mornings… because they were the best.
Dear Tim, I met your Mom many years ago and I recall her
kindness to Susan and her two children. Those memories will
always be with me. MY Condolences to you and family. from Ollie
Our sincere condolences to Dave and family. We have known the Moores family for more than 60 years. It’s always been a pleasure to visit with them. Our last visit was just two weeks before Eulene made her final exit. We’re glad that she is now with the Lord where there will be no more suffering and she will know as she is known. We look forward to seeing her again one day.
Praying for you all.

To the Moores family: I pray for you all, comfort and support during this precious time of Eulene’s new life in that realm of peace and joy with our Father. To me, she’s been a solid rock, a wise, loving, and remarkable woman. I have fond memories of talking and walking beside her flowers at Bonnie Acres, joining with her and David on “Sunday popcorn-and-movie night” and listening to her piano playing and to stories of her younger years. Visiting her at the mobile home in more recent years, she would always come out onto the little deck to greet us, smiling….as I’m sure she is now.
Our hearts go out to you Bea and Ulrich. We feel your loss, yet celebrate with you the hope of the fullness of life that we know they are now thoroughly enjoying. We can imagine it … Beautiful! Bless you. Hugs.
This is so hard to believe! Eulene was a wonderful Godly women, more like a sister to me than a cousin, & I will always cherish every beautiful & fun memories with the whole Moores family! My prayers for Gods comfort to be with you all, and especially David at this time!
Love to you all, especially David.
So many memories of Aunt Eulene…
The first time I met her and Uncle David was around Easter at the hospital where my BELOVED husband Gordons Mother was on her deathbed..I think I was 20.It seems like yesterday..Aunt Eulene was loving..wise…I have many fond memories that will live in my heart..Until we meet again..for eternity!!!
So many lovely memories of Eulene when we attended the little church in Jasper place.
I still have the bible that she presented me with, after Darrel and I were baptized.
Thank you so much, Esther and Terry, for remembering Mom and our family. We also have fond memories of you guys. <3 Thank you, as well, for the lovely bouquet you had delivered to the church. It was a beautiful, colourful addition to the front of the service and we enjoyed it for some time afterwards. Bless you guys. 🙂
I have many lovely memories of Mom Moores especially when I was a teen and hung with Esther. I loved Christmas when Mom Moores would drive us to a nursing home where we would sing carols for them. She was an amazing woman! I am praying that the comfort and strength of our loving Heavenly Father will envelop you all, especially Dad Moores!
Praying that you all will have peace as you recall all the sweet memories as a family…..Eulenes hospitality was amazing….and now she is at rest..Blessings to you Dave and family

My condolences to your family for the loss of Eulene:
She was a special woman who loved God with all her heart & soul. Ill never forget the summers at her home as a child going to her “Vacation Bible School” She taught me a lot about the love of Christ and living a life of Hope & peace with God.
Im sure she is singing with the angels and is in the place that God had prepared for her. Sorry I could not be there to give my last respects & Celebrate her life with you.
