Carmen Beverley LaVerne Lomow
Carmen Beverley LaVerne Lomow of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at the age of 91.
Carmen will be lovingly remembered by his children: Heather (Randy) Babiak, David (Renee) Lomow, and Marguerite Lomow; grandchildren: Cameron (Tanis) Babiak, Warren (Ashley) Babiak, Ian (Keri-Ann) Babiak, Allison (Jon) Rudyk, Teresa Lomow, and Jamison Lomow; great-grandchildren: Tristian, Ilyena, Isabelle, Siena, Adalie, and Owen; sister, Marjorie (David) Adamson; nieces: Shirley Adamson, Barbara (Bruce) Bell, and Brenda (Tom) White; and ex-wife, Jean Lomow.
He was predeceased by his father, Leonid; mother, Margaret; brothers, Herbert and Victor; sister-in-law, Lorraine; and brother-in-law, David.
Carmen was born and raised in Medicine Hat, Alberta. He moved to Edmonton at the age of 20, where he trained and then worked for 35 years as an air traffic controller, he raised his family, and golfed for 50+ years at the Glendale.
A Celebration of Life will be held with his family and friends at a later date.
