Henry Mah
With great sorrow and love, the family of Henry Mah announces his passing on February 9, 2018 at the age of 85. Henry will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his loving family: Wife, Emmy Mah; Children, Marcel (Mayling), Marjorie (Richard), Tammy (Keith); Grandchildren Ethan, Alyssa and Chris; and many close relatives and friends.
Henry lived a full life. He was devoted to his family and extensively travelled. He was born on April 3, 1932 in Taishan, China, and immigrated to Canada when he was 17. He was employed for 30 years with the federal government in addition to working in the private sector.
He contributed much of his spare time and retirement years with the Chinese community and church.
A visitation will take place on Thursday, February 22, 2018 to from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. both at McKernan Baptist Church 11103 76 Avenue NW, Edmonton. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family.

Marcel, I’m sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I remember him as a kind, gentle man when we were kids in school.

What wonderful memories we have of time spent with you. Julien and I are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of your father. We will be out of country on the day of his funeral, but please know you are not forgotten and we pray for grace to carry you through the loss of your dad.
