Barry Harold Davis
It is with great sadness and much love we announce the passing of Barry Harold Davis, 67 , of Devon Alberta, at the U of A hospital Edmonton on March 21st, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.
Barry was a loving husband, father and grandfather who was loved and appreciated by all who came to know his whit and sense of humor. He was a talented musician who's love for music touched many lives and was only surpassed by the love of his family.
He will be lovingly remembered and cherished by his wife of 46 years, Dorothy.
Children; Christopher (Jolene), Allen (Chrissie), Nicholas (Candice), Jonathan (Anya)
Grandchildren; Victoria, Shayla, Jordan, Aiden, Parker, Mayleen, Ryce, and Rayne.
Siblings; Greg (Ellen) Davis, Karen (Rodney) Dempsey. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He will also be dearly missed by his mother in law Amy, brother in laws, sisters in laws, and countless cousins and friends.
Barry was born in St. Anthony NFLD on June 17, 1955 to Harold and Olive Davis (predeceased).
After a stent in the Canadian Armed Forces (1976-1981) Barry started his career as an Aviation Sheet metal technician which took him and his family across the country to the North West Territories, Southern Alberta, Nova Scotia, and settled the family in Devon Alberta in 1990.
Barry's love for music and entertainment resulted in his collaboration with many bands and fellow musicians. His talent extended to a contribution on numerous albums as well as the writing and production of his own songs.
Barry's Celebration of Life will be held at the Devon Golf and conference center on April 2/2023 at 1:30pm. Time will be available for all to share their memories and stories.

Dorothy and family, we are so sorry to hear of Barry’s passing. Barry dropped by last summer on his visit to Northern Newfoundland and we remember his musical jaunts to Fort McMurray. He will be missed. Condolences to you Dorothy and your family

A guy that loved life and socializing with his friends. He loved his family. May you RIP Barry and may god give strength to you Dorothy and your family to get through this difficult time.
