Arthur Victor Mattuli
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a loving husband, father, son and friend. Arthur Victor Mattuli was born February 14th, 1954 and passed away on January 17th, 2018 peacefully in his home. He is survived by his wife Nelly, daughter Cassandra (Greg), son Anthony, mother Irene, brother Perry (Chris), and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was predeceased by his father Victorio and was loved by many friends and family.
Art was born and raised in Edmonton. He served over 35 years working for AGT/Telus fixing telephone lines and retired in 2012. Although he enjoyed his work, serving his community was just as important. Art volunteered his time to the Dovercourt Community and was extremely involved in the Edmonton Minor Softball Association.
Among watching sports Arthur enjoyed the time he spent with his friends and family. Weekend camping trips, family game nights, and many nights watching softball.
It is difficult to sum up a man like Art in a simple write up. A man like Art only comes around once in a lifetime. Please join us on Tuesday January 23th, 2:00 in the afternoon at Inglewood CRC (12330-113 Ave) to celebrate the life of Arthur. This will be followed by refreshments and a time for sharing memories at Dovercourt Community Hall (13510 Dovercourt Ave).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

I was sorry to hear of Art’s passing. I only met Art a couple of years ago when I joined the NWZ board, but in the short time I knew him, I discovered that Art was a very special man. He made me laugh at every meeting and the Dovercourt boardroom will never be the same again.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Mattuli family. I know him only a bit from his work on The Dovercourt Community League Executive, as I’ve attend some meetings over the past several years. To you and your daughter and your son and the rest of your family, we send our love and pray that God will give you all that your hearts need as He carries you through.
What an amazing man. His jovial sarcastic nature brought many smiles and many giggles of ‘oh he did not just say that!’ Both Ron and I will sincerely miss his energy, ‘no bus rides’ at the card game banterings at pub night and summer fires.
Wish we could have spent more time with him ..,
I’m truly sorry for your loss. Art and i worked together with AGT in the seventies. We spent alot of time going on ski trips. He’s one of a kind and will be missed.
