David John Spilchen
It is with a heavy heart we announce the sudden passing of David John Spilchen on January 17th, 2023 at the age of 53 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his parents Mike and Lorette Spilchen; his two children Alex Spilchen (Carissa), Mark Spilchen (Sam); granddaughter Rhiley Spilchen; his two sisters Barb Turcotte and Debbie Clark (Gord) as well as his half brother Wayne O’Connell (Merilie) ; and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
David will always be remembered for his big heart and never ending kindness. Often putting others needs before his own, he was always willing to lend a helping hand. His love for snowmobiling (Ski-Doo), Toronto Maple Leafs and his family had brought so much joy in his life.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations in Dave's memory can be made to Tofield - Riley Food Bank.

I was so sad to hear of David’s passing. He was a kind sole and a great friend – full of life and fun. I will always remember with fondness our carefree days playing games during our childhood.

We are so very sad about the loss of David. Our family has so many wonderful memories of camping trips, family times together, and hearing all the latest news of David and his family, from his mom and dad, Lorette and Mike.
Alex and Mark have lost a caring dad: Mike and Lorette have lost a caring son; Barb, Deb and Wayne have lost a caring brother.
