Lynda Rosalee Dankowich (Haniak)
On Monday, August 22, 2022 at 11:11pm, our perfect mom took her last breath and went to see Jesus. We are devastated. We all have a new angel watching over us.
Our mom was an incredible person. I feel very lucky to have been her daughter. And we want to express our gratitude to her for everything she did for us. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Her closest family were able to say their goodbyes in person. Lynda was loved by so many. She always knew how to brighten someone's day and make them feel loved. She treated everyone with kindness and respect. She rarely got mad and when she did, you knew she had a darn good reason! Her outlook on life was inspiring. If you were lucky to spend more than five minutes in her presence, you were forever changed. We are so grateful to have had a mom who embraced each day with optimism.
Her passion was baking and cooking, even making her sons wedding cake. Lynda loved trying all new things. She has the most beautiful laugh and enjoyed entertaining. After working over 25 years as a HR specialist and retiring, she drove a shuttle van for a car dealership. She loved being outdoors and travelling with her husband and meeting new people.
She will be joined in heaven by her mom (Anna Haniak), dad (John Haniak), brothers (David Haniak and Louis Page) and nieces (Karen Haniak and Karen Ofner).
Lynda leaves behind heartbroken her husband of 51 years Ted Dankowich, daughter Leah Letki (Chris Letki), son Tyler Dankowich (Lisa Hansen), nephew Jason Haniak (Yvonne Haniak and grandson Rocque Haniak), niece Colleen Haniak and granddaughter Heidi Bundschuh, sister-in-law Jean Ofner, nephews Gerald Ofner and Darren Ofner (Kitling Ofner).
There will be a celebration of life but, as per Lynda's wishes, it will take place later as she wanted us to have time to heal our hearts.
We will let everyone know when this will occur.
Rest in peace beautiful Mom, you will never be forgotten.
rest in peace my beautiful angel. love you always and forever xoxo

I just heard about your Mom, then your Dad passing away so close to one another. They were so young. I worked at the ATA and came to know Lynda very well as we shared coffee breaks together along with many others. Lynda could always regale us with amusing stories of life at home, and warm stories about her children. I met your Dad a few times at parties or sometimes shopping at Safeway. He was a very friendly person to chat with, and one always left feeling lighter in spirit. May God give you peace in your hearts.
Love, Priscilla
