Manuela Terkelsen (Cavaglieri)
On the early morning of August 12, Manuela Terkelsen (Cavaglieri) left this plane and returned to the loving arms of her Lord and Savior after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Waiting for her at His side was her sister Suzanna and infant son, David.
Missing her dearly is her life partner Laurie. Her son Colin, daughters Samantha and Sarah(Colin aka Auzzie). Also her mother Christl, brothers Thomas (Christine) and Mario (Bianca), nephews Jannis and Adjan. The mother of her wonderful grandchildren Trish, and her grandchildren themselves, Ella and Logan as well as many family and friends.
Known for her love of coffee, reading, writing, music and drawing she always had friendly attitude and a smile that would light up any room. She wore her heart on her sleeve and was always involved in activities that had her around many people, be it a tupperware party or simply walking around downtown.
Thank you to staff of Capital Care Dickinsfield for all their hard work, patience and care given to Manuela.
A private gathering will occur on a later date with family. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in her memory to her favorite book store “The Wee Book Inn”, the MS society, Edmonton Food bank, social out reach programs or to a charity of your choice.
I wish you all the best. Although I never had the honor of meeting her I know from Laurie that she was a special person. She was so strong to battle MS all these years. The ups and downs over the many years must have been quite a struggle for you all. Please accept my condolences and at least she is at peace with god. Sorry for your loss. Love you Laurie, be strong as I know you will.
Had the pleasure of working with Manuela. She was a hard working dependable person, always cheery and a pleasure to be around. My Condolences to her family and those that were close to her.
