Bernard (Bernie) George Schell
On January 8th 2022 Bernard (Bernie) George Schell passed away at the age of 83 years old. He is survived by his loving & caring wife Louise of 62 years, his three children - daughter Fay Schell, son Grant (Joann) Schell, daughter Dawn (Howard) Kirby, six grandchildren - grandson Brent Marriott, granddaughter Amber Marriott (great grandchildren Kassidy, Remmy, Neriah), granddaughter Shalinda Kirby, grandson Cole Kirby, granddaughter Ashton Schell and grandson Justin Schell. Bernie is predeceased by his father Anton Jacob Schell, and mother Rose Aloysia (Ell) Schell and brother Robert Anthony Schell.
A Funeral Service will be held in Drayton Valley, AB on Friday January 21, 2022. Due to limited capacity those wishing to pay their respects can inquire by email for details to shalindakirby@gmail.com

So so sorry for your loss, Aunt Louise and everyone else. He was a no nonsense guy. You always knew where you stood with Bernie. He had a good heart, was smart and liked to be right. Now he and my Dad (Bill Proulx) can argue in heaven together and when they do, I’m sure we will be having one hellva storm down here!
I am so sorry to hear of Bernie’s passing. He was a neighbour at one time, friend and colleague/mentor on sour gas and oil drilling. I admired his knowledge and ability to express himself at the negotiating table. He will be sadly missed!
