Edwin Herbert Jantz

Edwin passed away peacefully at home on January 1, 2022.

He will be fondly remembered by his wife, Violet; children Brian, Janice, and Marvin (Donna); grand children Deanna (Bryant), and Angela (Brad); great grandchildren, Brayden, and Avery; sister, Doreen; and many other extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Wanda; brothers, Walter (Doris) and Clarence; sister, Gertrude (Billy); brother-in-law Walter; and grandson Cameron.

Edwin spent his life in the Ellerslie area where he raised his family and worked in construction, the oilfield, and other jobs before settling into a long and rewarding farming career. Over the years, he enjoyed travelling, curling, golfing, and bowling with family and friends.

A small private service will be held for family and friends. If desired, donations in memory of Edwin can be made to St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Open Memorial Fund or the charity of one’s choice.
