Roland Joseph Geneau

Former New Brunswick resident Roland Joseph Geneau , 68, died November 4th 2021, at the Edmonton General Hospital, Edmonton Alberta after suffering a major cardiac event following a lengthy battle with cancer.

Roland was born August 9, 1953, in Plaster Rock, New Brunswick., to Edgar and Jean Geneau. (pre-deceased)

Roland was a loving Father of four children who were is whole life and he considered them his greatest accomplishment. Roland has 10 grandchildren all of whom he was so very proud of.   Roland loved to sing and play his guitar, tinker away the time in his garage and spending time with his children.

Roland made the decision to spend his final days in Edmonton where three of his children and 8 of his grandchildren reside, he wanted to create lasting memories with the remainder of his time.

He is survived by his children; daughter, Christal Pelletier (Fabien), grandsons, Ryan & Gabriel, granddaughters, Megan & Ariah, daughter, Nicole Haley (Curtis), grandsons, Keegan & Tristan, son, Mark Geneau (Nikki), grandsons, Brady & Liam, daughter, Melissa Crabbe, (Trevor), grandson, Johnathan & granddaughter Emily.

Roland’s final resting place will be in Beaumont, Alberta at the St. Vital Catholic Church and in the woods of Edson, Alberta so he can be close to his son.

At his request, no service will be held.
