James (Jim) Grant
It is with deep sadness that the family of James (Jim) Grant announce his peaceful passing on November 6th, 2021. He will be lovingly remembered by Carol, his wife of 64 years, his children Patti (Jim), Kathy (Dave), Heather (Howard) and Craig, his younger brother Doug (Barb) and sister Georgia (Tom). He was the best Bopee to Jordan (Ashlyn), Jillean (Michael), Ben, Kate (Stephen) and Marcy; and Great-Bops to Taiji, Lion, Apollo and Rook.
The Grant family are eternally grateful to the staff at Pilgrims Hospice and specifically Dr. Witharana and Sam Gervais for their compassionate care. Donations to Pilgrims Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
A private Celebration of Life will be held in the summer. Date and location to be determined.
On Angel’s Wings you were taken away,
But in my heart you will always stay.
I will hear your whisper in the tallest trees,
Feel your love in the gentle breeze.
And when I find I miss you most,
Inside our beautiful memories,
I will hold you close.
You are an Angel watching over me
With the comfort and blessings you bring.
You embrace my heart and hold it close,
Forever on Angel’s Wings.
We are very sorry to hear about a dear old friend from our younger years. Time and space sometimes separates us all but memories always remain.
Rest in Peace Jim.

I had the privilege of working for Jim. He was a very kind, intelligent and wonderful man. He was a great leader who was very well-respected. He will be sadly be missed by all that knew him.
Sincere thoughts and condolences to his entire family.
