So many wonderful memories growing up with Matthew as a kid: catching fish out at Mistohay Lake, playing endless games outside at our acreage, tearing up the place while visiting at their place having Nerf wars in the basement. It is very difficult for myself and our family to come to terms with him passing. The pain and loss you must be feeling now only being described as immeasurable.
Greg & Yvonne and the entire family – know that our hearts and deepest sympathies are with you all.
With all our love,
Andy, Erika & Everett

To the Legrand families,
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this very difficult time. As Matthew’s Grade 6 teacher, I remember him fondly as a kind helpful young man, who had a great sense of humour and a warm, friendly smile. I saw those same qualities, as Brody’s Grade 1 teacher. My deepest sympathy to all of you, for the loss of your son, husband, brother, dad and uncle.
Take care of yourselves and each other.
