Brian Keith Webb
With deep sadness the family of Brian Webb announce his passing at the age of 71.
Brian had a lifetime career with Scotiabank, which led him to live in cities across Canada, Jamaica and Puerto Rico. He retired to his family home city of St. Albert in 2005. Brian loved great food, drink, music, books and hockey. He had a witty sense of humor and a generous nature that will be fondly remembered.
He is survived by his brother Allan (Linda) Webb and sister Shelley (John) Aldrich; nieces Kimberley Webb, Michelle (Mark) Abbott, Carla (Ryan) Anderson and nephew Mike Webb; great-nephews and nieces, Deric, Arwynn and Raeann Abbott, and Isla and Oliver Anderson. Brian will be warmly remembered by cousins and long-time friends. He is predeceased by his parents Don (2004) and Adelaide (2005), sister Tanis (2011), and great-niece and nephew Alaina and Nathan Abbott (2005).
No service as per Brian’s request, with a private internment at a future date. A donation to a charity of your choice is welcome in memorial.
My sincere condolences to the Webb family on the loss of Brian. Love from Janice & Terry McGovern.
Thinking of you, Brian, with lots of great memories. We met while both working at the Bank of Nova Scotia, West End branch in Calgary and became good friends. Besides working together we played racquetball, which you always won, had camping adventures around Alberta, exchanged music and books, travelled to Vegas together where you taught me to bet big, and shared down south winters in Solano Beach, Phoenix and Lake Havasu. Along the way there were many great meals together, generally cooked by you, as well as a few beers and draughts of Scotch. Travel well!
