Dear Norma, our deepest condolences for your loss. I was quite fond of Dan, we talked a lot over the years about business and our Lord Jesus.
I will miss those conversations. I know he is resting and safe with our Lord and I/we will all see him when our Lord returns.
God Bless
Sincerely
Dwayne & Audrey Groome
We both extend our condolences to Norma and Dan’s family. We enjoyed our affiliation with Dan for a few years before moving to Mexico where Anastasia is still fully involved in Real Estate and I her diligent assistant… as we were in Edmonton. We were shocked to hear of Dan’s passing… may he rest in peace.
Dear Norma,
I learned with great sadness of Dan’s passing. He was a true gentleman, a wonderful mentor, an unbelievably supportive friend and will be missed by anyone who had the chance t know him. Our hearts go out to you and the family at this difficult time. Wish I could be there to celebrate Dan’s life and work and remember him with you all. My love to you all.

Dear Norma Gitzel,
Please accept my deepest condolences for the loss of your beloved husband Dan
I was extremely sad to hear of Dan’s passing … he is someone who I will remember and acknowledge often as providing encouragement and friendship that were significant in enriching my life, both professionally and personally, He and his smile will be remembered fondly and often.
Dan was my broker when I first started my career in Real Estate with Realty Executives North Star for the first 10 years of my career starting back in 2005. He was a very kind, thoughtful man who was always smiling! Very sad news when I heard of his passing. Sending my heartfelt condolences to Norma his wife, and family. RIP Dan.
Dear Gitzel Family, My Thoughts and Prayers are with you all. I worked with Dan for many, many years in Real Estate. He was such a Good Man and a True Professional in the Real Estate Industry. He always had a smile and was happy to sit & chat whenever we saw each other. Truly a Gentleman and he will be missed.
When I lived in Edmonton 45 years ago (yikes) I remember our families getting together and Corinne and I playing in your swimming pool with Trisha and Nathan (and eating way too many Mr. Freeze pops). I also remember Dan being caring, contemplative and dedicated to his family and his beliefs. Things I value to this day. Our sympathies go out to you on this loss but I’m sure you will meet again someday. Regards to you and your extended family.
Bill and I are so sorry for your loss of Dan. Both of you made a loving couple and were a great example to many. Our hearts and prayers are with you and your family.
I was so sorry to hear of Dan’s passing. He was a good man with a good heart. My condolences to Norma and the family.

Regards to you and your family
My Deepest Condolences to Norma and the family. My heart was so crushed when I heard the news about Dan Gitzel , it was so shocking and very sad, I just want to say I’ve been with Dan 16 years doing Real Estate and he’s so amazing and was always there for me and his smile always was there, I am so blessed to be working with a great Man who made me Love my Job. We’re all going to miss him the office won’t be the same without him. Rest in peace Dan Gitzel.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, Norma, and your family. I will always be grateful to Dan for the start he gave me in establishing my real estate career! His kindness and goodness will be remembered.
My deepest sympathies to the family. I’ve known Dan a very long time though the real estate community. Our chats were always full of laughter. He will be missed
I am deeply saddened to hear of Dan’s passing and the pain this must be for his family. I knew Dan very well, and loved our conversations over the years and breakfast “meetings” which were mostly an update on all the wonderful things his grand children were into, with his buttons bursting from pride and adoration of their accomplishments. I know Dan’s commitment to The Lord and for that reason I can say with confidence that Dan is in a much better place today. I’ll miss you buddy, see you again soon enough…
Norma my thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. Dan will always be remembered by all those that his life touched as he was a kind, caring, thoughtful, funny and all around good soul. I was saddened to hear of is passing. May all the wonderful memories help you through this time.
Words seem so inadequate to express our sadness at the sudden death of Dan. There are such wonderful memories: years of singing together, laughing together and our families growing up together; Dan’s infectious smile and laughter and optimism; Dan’s encouragement when I went into Real Estate in 1998. Dan leaves behind a wonderful legacy, particularly that of a Godly man who lived what he believed. Norma and family, our love and prayers are with you.
Howard and I wish to express our love to Carol and Dan’s family. He will be missed greatly while we’re apart. We pray for your comfort and assurance in Jesus during this time and join with you in your grief as well as rejoice in our hope as we will one day be together with the Lord. 🙏🏻
Dan has been our neighbour for about 37 years. Over the years, we’ve witnessed Norma and him raise their children and welcome their entire extended family. We have stayed in our home in part because we value their friendship; great neighbours are worth their weight in gold. We’ll miss the over the fence chats with Dan but will still love our contact with Norma, Trish, Hilmar, Marcie and the grandkids.
Dear Norma, Hilmar & Trisha & family, Marcie & family,
Sending each of you our deepest condolences in the loss of your dear husband, father, grandfather! Dan was truly a great Christian influence in the lives of the people around him. I admired the grace with which Dan and you Norma & your family have and are living your lives. The Lord bless you with his Comfort as you journey this loss! I was really blessed by Dan’s memorial service today! When we all get to heaven what what a day of rejoicing it will be!
