Grace Josephine Johnston

Grace Josephine Johnston passed away on April 18th, 2021 at the age of 74 in her home surrounded by her 3 children and 5 grandchildren. We were given the gift and blessing to be with her during her final days at home.

Grace was born in Biggar Saskatchewan on May 10th, 1946. She lived there with her parents and brothers until she was married in 1968.

Grace worked as a Nurse for the Lynnwood extended care centre for 30 plus years. When she retired she took up gardening and enjoying her grandchildren.

Grace will be remembered for her sense of humour, sarcasm, and her words of wisdom. Often giving advice to her grandchildren “not necessarily approved” by their parents. She survived by her children, Cecelia (Nelson), Joseph (Marta), and Anita. Grandchildren Kalli, Katie, Kira, Laila, and Nicolas, and her several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Junior (Marianne), and her parents Anson and Bernice Smith, and survived by her one brother Ronnie (Faye). She will be dearly missed by her family.
