Archibald (“Archie”) Roy Locke
On April 4, 2016, Archibald (“Archie”) Roy Locke passed away. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary, and his four children: Greg, Jeff (Caroline), Carmen (Carl), and Jennifer (Andrew). Archie worked at the Edmonton Petro Canada Refinery for fifty years which he often described as the best years of his life before he retired in 2001. He was also a big sports fan, especially of hockey, and even played and coached his sons’ teams. He also enjoyed playing both the ponies and the slots at Northlands, and enjoyed socializing with his coffee friends. He will be dearly missed.
As per Archie’s wishes, there will not be a service. However, there will be a small, informal gathering for family and close friends at a future date.
My deepest sympathy on the passing of your father. I will always remember the laughter and stories that were told and retold at family gatherings, especially Christmas Eve when the brothers were together enjoying the spirits of the season and reveling in the experiences they had shared. Love and hugs.
Mary, meant to get this away sooner, better late than never. So sorry for your loss. Did so enjoy
our coffee sessions many years ago!! Lost our son Rob April 15 to ALS is the reason I am so late.
Hugs to you & your family.
