Robert Bruce Tychy
January 8, 1939 to August 18, 2015
It is with heavy hearts and deepest sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather; better known by his grandsons as "Pa or Papa." He is survived by his wife of 48 years Marcia, sons Darryl and Brent (Ania), daughter Darla, grandsons, Shea (Amanda), Damon and Jaden. As well as his brother Walter (Alice) and his sister Fran (Arnie) and numerous extended family and friends. Bob will be lovingly remembered for his willingness to be there to help family and friends and his daily presence in his grandsons lives.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the Palliative Care Team, Unit 43 at the Grey Nuns for their outstanding care and compassion with not only Bob but making us feel welcome and cared for on a daily basis. In lieu of flowers a donation in Bob's honour can be made to the Tertiary Palliative Care Unit 43 at the Grey Nuns or the Cross Cancer Institute.
