Antonia (nee Sirianni) Splendore
May 10, 1934 - January 16, 2015
Gone is the laughter and there is no longer a comforting shoulder upon which to lay our troubles. After a beautiful life of love and service to God and to her family, Antonia passed away peacefully on January 16, 2015 at the age of 80 years.
Antonia leaves to mourn her devoted husband of fifty four years, Pietro; three daughters: Angela (Frank) Cappellano, Donata (Silvestro) Stavale and Enza (Angelo) Talarico; five grandchildren: Antonio, Tonia, Erica, Melania and Luigi; her brother Ottorino (Margherita) Sirianni; sisters: Linda Fauro, Mafalda (Romano) Rizzo, Giuseppina Zambon, Rita (Oliverio) Principe all of Edmonton and sisters-in-law, Rosaria and Vanda of Italy as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends in Edmonton and Italy.
She was predeceased by her parents Enrico and Elvira, brothers: Gustavo and Olindo and brothers-in-law Albino and Giancarlo.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the doctors and nurses who cared for Antonia during her illness over the last year.
